4) Procedure
4.1 Preparation
- Ensure the work area and equipment are clean and sanitized before starting the emulsification process.
- Verify the availability and integrity of cream formulation ingredients.
- Inspect the cream emulsifier, including mixing blades and temperature control systems, to ensure they are clean and operational.
4.2 Emulsification Process
- Set up the emulsification parameters such as mixing speed, temperature, and emulsifier addition rate according to the formulation requirements.
- Load the ingredients into the emulsifier and start the mixing process.
- Monitor the emulsification process to achieve the desired cream consistency and uniform distribution of ingredients.
4.3 Cleaning and Maintenance
- Stop the cream emulsifier after completing the emulsification batch.
- Disassemble mixing blades and clean them thoroughly using appropriate cleaning agents.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as lubrication of moving parts and inspection of seals.
