Operation and Maintenance of Cream Homogenizer

4) Procedure

4.1 Preparation

  1. Ensure the work area and equipment are clean and sanitized before starting the homogenization process.
  2. Verify the availability and integrity of ingredients and raw materials required for the cream formulation.
  3. Inspect the cream homogenizer, including the homogenization chamber and valves, to ensure they are clean and operational.

4.2 Homogenization Process

  1. Set up the homogenization parameters such as pressure, temperature, and number of passes according to the cream formulation.

4.3 Cooling and Storage

  1. Cool the homogenized cream to the required temperature using cooling jackets or external chilling systems.
  2. Transfer the cooled cream to storage containers or directly to filling machines for packaging.

4.4 Cleaning and Maintenance

  1. Stop the cream homogenizer after completing the homogenization batch.
